Why I Founded Added Margin

In 2021, I was stretched too thin in my own business. I was working long hours, falling behind, and not taking great care of myself. I knew I needed help and that I couldn’t keep trying to do everything on my own.

That’s when I hired my first remote employee. At first, I wasn’t sure what working with someone overseas would be like, but it ended up being one of the best decisions I made. I was able to hand off work that was taking up too much of my time, get help in areas that weren’t my strengths, and finally create some breathing room in the business.

The experience was such a positive one that I’ve continued working with remote employees ever since. I started Added Margin to help other business owners find that same kind of support with great people who can take meaningful work off their plate and help the business move forward.
